Julie Voet
Belgian champion and elite distance runner, specialised in the 5 and 10 km
She started with athletics when she was twelve, initially as a recreation. However, her competitive nature soon began to emerge and she decided to focus exclusively on competition. When she was just eighteen, she was selected for a national team for the first time, taking part in the European Cross-Country Championship, where she finished twenty-first. In the meantime, she has participated in this championship three times and in 2024 achieved an impressive nineteenth place.
In addition to cross-country, Voet also began to impress increasingly as a road runner. She qualified for the European 10 Kilometre Championship with the seniors and came a creditable twenty-sixth. In August 2025, she was also crowned as Belgian senior champion for the 10 kilometres, the absolute highlight of her career so far.
Her perseverance and perfectionism make her an athlete who never loses sight of her goals. Her big dream? To compete in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The distance doesn’t matter, but one thing is certain: she just wants to be there.
