Pure supplements
As a professional athlete and passionate advocate of a healthy life style, I discovered how difficult it is to find supplements that closely match the needs of my body. Many products contain artificial sweeteners, unhealthy oils or unnecessary bulking agents. In addition, the dosages of the active components are often lower than necessary to achieve the desired beneficial results. This insight persuaded me to enter into a unique collaboration with TGA. Working together, we developed a range of supplements that stand for quality, purity and effectiveness.
The Green Athlete
Every product is exclusively composed of the very best ingredients in the optimal quantities, in accordance with the most recent scientific insights. TGA makes it possible for me to be the best possible version of myself, not only in my health-conscious day-to-day life but also when performing as a top sportsman in the boxing ring.
Jannes’s favourites
Electrolytes
As an athlete, I have repeatedly experienced just how crucial good hydration can be for both physical and mental functioning. In the first instance, it is a matter of replacing the salts that I have sweated out, so that my body can recover. But it is equally important to ‘front load’ your reserves of electrolytes if you want to perform at your best. By consciously taking in extra salts, your body retains more fluids, which results in a more stable heart rate and a reduced level of subjective fatigue during intense sessions of activity when you sweat a lot.
As a kickboxer, I often have to dehydrate myself in order to reach the right weight for my competitions. At such moments, you feel tired, weak, irritable, stressed and find it difficult to concentrate. These experiences helped me to understand just how seriously under-hydration can affect the performance of both body and mind. Even so, a recent study revealed that at least 75% of the American population are insufficiently hydrated each day. As a result, many people are confronted daily with similar (albeit milder) symptoms to those I have just described, without realising that they are simply the effects of a lack of proper hydration. For someone who sweats excessively, like I do, good hydration is not merely an option; it is an absolute necessity.
Pre-Workout
In addition, I am also a big fan of TGA Pre-workout. There are very few supplements on the market that combine the most high-impact ingredients in the right quantities as an aid to genuinely boost performance. Other products often contain either too little of the active components or else far too much caffeine, which makes me feel nervous or agitated.
With TGA Pre-workout I have finally found a formula that can put me in the right frame of mind to give maximum effort. It helps me to achieve a state of flow more quickly, resulting in a feeling of focus, control and power, which I had never previously experienced to the same extent.
